Ableton Live is fast becoming the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) of choice for many individuals. Everybody from film composers, world class DJ’s, Remixers, Live performers and singer/songwriters are using the power of Ableton Live to bring their musical ideas to life. Its manipulation of audio with use of warp markers, has made Ableton Live a “must have” piece of software. This course is intended for anyone who has an interest in music production using Ableton Live. No previous knowledge of Ableton Live is required, however students should have some basic computer skills and some experience of working with melody, rhythm and simple chord sequences is preferred but not essential. The course will cover everything, from the very basics of setting up your system preferences, to the more advanced features that will help you get the most out of your music. Course Content:
The topics listed below are given as a guide to the various elements that will be taught during the course. Students are encouraged to produce music in a style of there own choosing and once theory has been taught on a certain topic, it will put to immediate practical use.

Whether you are a composer, producer or live performer, Reason can offer you an unlimited number of sounds and inspirational ideas that will take your music to the next level. It is being used by many big names all around the world, for example the Prodigy, Black Eyed Peas and A Guy Called Gerald. This course is intended for anyone who has an interest in music production using Propellerheads Reasons 4. No previous knowledge of Reason is required, however students should have some basic computer skills and some experience of working with melody, rhythm and simple chord sequences is preferred but not essential.
