Matt Johnson

Matt Johnson is a leading DJ and Promoter in South West England and South Wales.  He has played all over the UK, held a six month residency in Portugal and regularly plays on The White Isle, including   the legendary Cafe Del Mar & Cafe Savannah. Matt runs his own night in Bristol - New City Sound - which is one of the most respected and authentic House nights to emerge in recent years.  Go to www.newcitysound.co.uk  His events have made the "Recommended" listings of International DJ Magazine and he has been described by the magazine as "technically blinding".   Matt has also recently launched his own record label, New City Sound Recordings.   Matt runs a team of eight DJs, Promoters and Producers at New City Sound, four of whom are former DJ Academy Students!  His style ranges from House, Soul & Funk, through to Deep, Chilled and Leftfield sounds.
